What does the pastor do? Is the pastor responsible for doing ministry for the church? Ephesians 4 reminds us that the role of pastor is that of equipping the saints for works of service. Unless pastors and people work together, the work of the church is diminished.

This first sermon of 2008 looks at the biblical character of Obed-Edom (1 Chronicles 13:14) and asks how can we receive the blessing he did this coming year.
Obed-Edom welcomed the Ark of God into his home following the failed attempt to by David to bring the Ark into Jerusalem. Scripture says that the Ark remained with Obed-Edom for three months and God blessed him and his household.
